You need a level, cleared area with a proper foundation in place before delivery. The site must allow access for delivery equipment and be free of obstacles like low branches, fences, or soft ground.
Accepted foundations depend on the building type:

- Concrete slab (recommended for cabins and tiny houses)
- Concrete blocks (“cookies”) placed under skids for smaller structures
Permit requirements vary by location. You must check with your city or county and secure approvals before delivery.
